Robert Johnson's "King of the Delta Blues Singers" is easily one of the most influential blues albums of all time, by a ghost-like figure who recorded just 29 songs before his mysterious death in Mississippi. Originally released in 1961, this album was the first time many of Robert Johnson's songs were widely available. At the time of this album's release, no pictures existed of the delta blues master, hence the painting of an anonymous bluesman.
